Nate Myles is a former Australian rugby league player known for his toughness and consistency across a 14-year NRL career. He represented Queensland in State of Origin and Australia at the international level, earning respect as one of the game’s most durable forwards.

Role & Focus: Forwards coach and contact, ruck control, defensive physicality

Todd carney

Dally M Winner (Player of the Year) 2010

Todd Carney is a former Australian rugby league player known for his exceptional playmaking ability and creativity on the field. Throughout his career, he achieved elite success, winning the 2010 Dally M Medal and representing both New South Wales and Australia.

Jarrod Croker is a former Australian rugby league player celebrated for his leadership, consistency, and outstanding goal-kicking ability. A one-club player with the Canberra Raiders, he captained the team for several seasons and became one of the NRL’s highest all-time point scorers.

FERRIS

BSpSc (Hons) PhD AHPM

Dan Ferris is a renowned high-performance coach and sports scientist with extensive experience in elite rugby league. He has worked with top NRL clubs and athletes, focusing on strength, conditioning, and developing programs that enhance performance and resilience. Dan Ferris holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Science from Griffith University and has worked for clubs, Gold Coast Titans, Manly Sea Eagles and Canterbury Bulldogs.

Role & Focus: High Performance Strength, conditioning, recovery, academy structure

Who We Train

Our sessions are designed for young rugby league players who want to grow their skills, confidence and game awareness. Whether they’re just starting out or chasing higher level opportunities, every athlete trains at the level that suits their stage.

The young Starter

Age: 9–12
Profile:

Just starting rugby league, full of energy and curiosity, loves playing with friends and learning new skills.

Motivations:

Wants to have fun, develop basic skills, feel confident in games and be encouraged to keep playing.

The aspiring player

Age: 13–17
Profile:

Plays rugby league at club or school level, ambitious and driven, loves the sport, spends significant time training and watching games.

Motivations:

Wants to improve skills, be selected for representative teams and learn from elite athletes.

everything you need to know

NXTLL is a 2-day high-performance development camp for youth rugby league players aged 9–17. It combines elite skill coaching, tactical development and physical and mental resilience training in a fun, age-appropriate environment.

Your child will experience position-specific coaching, fun skill-building games, and structured drills led by NRL legends and elite coaches. Sessions are designed to be safe, engaging and age-appropriate, helping players build confidence, skills and resilience from day one.

Players should bring football boots, water bottles, any protection gear such as mouthguard, shoulder harnesses, anything to do with their preparation or workout. Training shirts, shorts, hat and socks are provided. Food and drinks are supplied during the camp.

NXTLL is more than a camp. We provide direct access to NRL legends, structured learning aligned with elite performance principles.

Yes! Camps are age-appropriate and inclusive, with coaching tailored to skill level. Players of all abilities can develop, learn and enjoy the experience.

Yes, parents are welcome to observe certain sessions. We aim to create a family-friendly environment while ensuring players remain focused and engaged.

If your child is unwell or injured on the day, please notify us as soon as possible. We will reschedule their registration to a future camp or clinic where possible to ensure they don’t miss out.

Refunds are available in accordance with our camp terms. In the event of illness, injury or unforeseen circumstances, we offer flexible rescheduling to another camp date. Full details are provided at registration.
